Elevate Your Rope Bowls - West Bend

Instructor will provide following Items: beads, buttons, other bling to add those finishing touches, written and oral instructions.

Student Supply List: 

1.       Sewing machine with capability for a zig-zag stitch in Good Working Order.
2.       Plastic gallon bags or a shoe box filled with   1” fabric strips cut from your favorite color.  Great way to use up scraps.  Strip sizes that work best can be ¾ inch wide to 1 ¼ inch wide for sizing. 
3.       100 foot roll of 7/32 clothesline rope.   Menards and Ace hardware carry it.
4.       40 weight thread in color of your choice to match your project
5.       90/14 needle—Jeans needle is best
6.       Wonder clips (small pkg will be enough)
7.       Basic sewing supplies: pins, scissors, seam ripper, etc.
8.       Rotary cutter and ruler

**If you want to try the over/under bowl, please bring batiks for your fabric selection.

**Instructor will have kits available for purchase that will include rope and fabric for $15.00

**Any beginners who would like to sign up for the class may do so with the understanding they will be making a circular fabric covered rope bowl. Please purchase the kit and inform us if you are a beginner so instructor may bring appropriate material for you.
