Stripology - GE Designs - Lil' Lilo Table Runner - West Bend

Join us for the Lil' Lilo table runner pattern. The Lil' patterns are based off some of the GE full sized patterns.

We'll sew a 13 1/2" by 40' table runner using 5" squares plus a background fabric. We'll go through step by step cutting & piecing, so that if you don't complete it during the class, you'll be able to finish at home. Don't worry if you've never used the Stripology rulers before, Marcy will teach you!

Required Supplies: 

GE Designs Lil' Lilo pattern
Stripology Squared Mini Ruler - if you have the Stripology XL and Squared rulers, they can be helpful if you are cutting from strips. 
Rotary cutter (w/sharp blade) & cutting mat (that fits your ruler)
Sewing machine including 1/4" foot, thread, scissors, and your favorite sewing tools.

GEasy ruler stickers


FABRIC REQUIREMENT:

• 27 - 5" squares - from your stash or 6-8 Fat 12ths (6x21). (A Lil Fabric Kit may be available at KK. They contain 12 6' coordinating fabrics)
• If your fabric is in strips, no need to cut prior to class. If using strips, treating your fabric with Best Press or starch will be helpful as we will be cutting & sewing on the bias. 
• 1/2 yard background fabric
• 3/4 yard for backing (not needed for class)
• 1/2 yard for binding (not needed for class)
