Hello Summer Embroidered Pillow - De Pere

Get familiar with using your embroidery
machine. Load a design from USB. Hoop
material and stabilizer. Haven’t used your
sewing and embroidery machine yet? Or,
it’s been a while? Want to have fun using
your fabric stash? This one’s for you!
8x12 hoop is required.

July 13th  11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Supply List:

Embroidery / Sewing Machine machine with 8”x12” hoop. Embroidery module and machine
accessory tray or extension table.
Embroidery “W” Foot, J Foot, and (optional) R, stitch in the ditch foot.
Screw driver for changing feet and needle.
Needles: Embroidery size 75 or 80 and Sewing /Universal needle size 75 or 80.
Tear Away Firm or Heavy Stabilizer
Spool caps, embroidery scissors, 24” ruler, cutting mat, rotary cutter
Wonder Clips and/or pins.
One bobbin wound with 60 wt Finishing Touch bobbin thread.
White sewing thread 50wt (You will see stitching on the front and back of pillow).
One bobbin wound with sewing thread. (Do not get this mixed with your white embroidery
bobbin thread!)

Fabric:
(Please cut to size and press prior to class).

White back ground fabric 22” x 10”
2 fabric strips, 2 ¼” x 20” each
10 squares of fabric 4 ½”x 4 ½”
2 pieces of fabric 20” x 14” for pillow back
22” square fusible fleece

20” pillow form (Not need for class. Can purchase afterwards.)

Machine Embroidery Threads:
(You may substitute any colors you wish. The colors below were
used for the class sample).

Dark Pink Madeira Rayon 1107
Med Green Isacord 5610
Red Madeira Rayon 1147
Pink Isacord 1761
Yellow Madeira Rayon 1023
Dark Green Madeira Rayon 1051

Embroidery Design will be loaded to your machine in class. There is no additional charge for the
design.
