Sewing 101: Getting Started - De Pere

Have you always wanted to learn to sew but weren't sure where to start? This beginner sewing class is the perfect first step! Join us at KK Sew & Vac in De Pere for this two-session workshop where we'll cover all the basics — from threading your machine and understanding tension, to sewing a straight seam and pressing your work like a pro.

You'll leave feeling confident, comfortable at the machine, and ready to tackle your first project. Whether sewing has been on your bucket list for years or you just got your first machine, this is your class!

This class is open to ages 8+ and is perfect for anyone who wants a fresh introduction to sewing or has never sat behind a machine before. Students ages 8 - 13 are welcome with a parent or guardian present.

Please bring your own sewing machine to class. If this is a hardship, don't hesitate to reach out to us — we'll do our best to accommodate you!

No experience necessary — all skill levels welcome, but this class is designed especially for first-timers.
