April began quilting while living in Hungary. Since she spoke very little Hungarian, she learned to quilt from YouTube. Upon retirement April found herself at the local quilt shop most days--here is where she discovered her passion. She began working at the shop in 2017 and hasn't had a day since without learning, laughing, and building lasting friendships.
April is drawn to rich saturated colors and bold designs. When she's not in front of a machine, she's either thinking, dreaming, or talking about stitching! She lives in Florida with her husband and her daughter. When she's not traveling she's either gardening or reading, but still thinking about stitching
