SUPPLY LIST- Part #1.
 Book - Paper Piecing all year round.
At least 3 copies of each pattern Patriotic Pup (page 51 and 52) with additional copies for those mistakes that do happen. 
Color copies are recommended with at least a 1/4" around the border (Adjust placement on copy machine to achieve the 1/4" around the border).
Kimberly Public Library allows making color copies for 25 cents per copy.

Basic sewing/quilting supplies.
Add-A-Quarter ruler.

Material: Fat Quarter for background material on pups.
               Fat Quarter for additional blocks next to pup blocks.
               Large scraps of brown, dark brown, and black for pups.
               Scraps for glasses and hat.
               Buttons for eyes and nose.
               Black embroidery floss.
Pillow material needed: Inner Border 1/8 yard or a fat eighth.
                                       Outer Border and Back of pillow-1 yard.

Supply List - Part #2.
1 square (23" x 23") batting.
24" x 24" backing (any leftover cotton or muslin material in your stash) this backing will not be visible in final project.
Coordinating cotton thread.
18" x 18" pillow form.
Quilting supplies: Free Motion Quilting foot. 
Quilting needle 80/12.
Quilting gloves.
30 - safety pins large size and curved.
Material to make practice sandwiches: 6 -12" x 12" squares of fabric and 3 - 14" x 14" square of batting.
