DePere/Baby Lock Embroidery Club - May 2019
It's May so it's Flowers this month! We'll be working with Stump Work. Stump Work is a old hand embroidery technique in which the stitched figures are raised from the surface of the work to form a 3-dimensional effect. We'll be changing it up a bit and using Silk Flower petals for the raised part of the embroidery. The designs are set up to stitch each petal into place and then stitch the center - there are 2 centers, one is basic and the other has a fun fringe effect. I'llhave the silk petals for you at club - I have Pink, White, Purple and Red. $2.00 kit fee per flower
- you should have time to make 2 or 3 flowers in club.
